13th January, 2018 Maiden Bible Championship in progress in Accra, Ghana. Pastor Joshua and the team of brothers and sisters are organizing it using the rules of the International Bible Championship Jerusalem Prague. What a blessing!

9th January, 2018 First vice-chaiman of the Czech Senate Mrs. Miluše Horská and chairman of the Senate committee for education Mr. Zdeněk Papoušek both decided to give their auspices to the International Bible Championship Jerusalem Prague 2018.
7th January, 2018 Director of the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem Mrs.Amanda Weiss decided that the Bible Lands Museum Jerusalem will be partner of the International Bible Championship Jerusalem Prague 2018. Welcome on the board!

September 2017 Due to connection with Jerusalem Day celebration the International Bible Championship Jerusalem Prague is planned on 13th of May 2018.
6th December, 2016 a new chapter of the National Bible Championship was opened in Ghana. Welcome on board brothers and sisters from Ghana!
On October 2016 was decided by the Board that due to low sign up of the Bible Championship in Jerusalem for 2016, the event is postponed to 2018 and destination to Prague, Czech Republic. Championship's strong connection to Jerusalem will remain as the fundamental basis.
19th October, 2015 was materialized videointerview of Samuel Smadja (representative of the network of Christian TV channels TBN for Israel and director of the travel agency Sar El Tours) with Juergen Buehler (Executive Director of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem) and Victor Kalisher (Director General of the Bible Society in Israel) promoting International Bible Championship next year in Jerusalem. On 11th till 14th of June 2015 were held key meetings with the Board of the IBCJ 2016 in the premises of the Bible Society in Israel (https://www.biblesocietyinisrael.com) as a follow-up to the meetings with the representatives of Sar-EL Tours (https://sareltours.com), King of Kings community Jerusalem (https://www.kkcj.org) and ICEJ (www.icej.org). Those meetings were finalizing the program and the place of the IBCJ 2016 including the connecting program in Jerusalem and optional tour to the norhern Galilea. Prices for the both packages for participants and visitors have been established.
On 24th till 27th of April 2015 another important meetings were held at the Bible Society in Israel, also with the management of Sar-El Tours and ICEJ headquaters. Dates of IBCJ 2016 has been established: 27th of November till 2nd of December 2016 with optional additional 4 days tour to Israel.
On 29th of September 2014 the strategic meeting was held in the premises of the Bible Society in Israel. Basic decisions were prayfuly made.

Dear Mr. Director,
thank you for your letter in which you ask me on behalf of the Czech branch of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem to take the patronage over the International Bible Championship Jerusalem which you will be organizing in Jerusalem in June next year in cooperation with the Bible Society in Israel and the Czech branch of the Scripture Union.
It is a big honour for me to take the patronage over this significant cultural-spiritual event drawing attention to the Book of books, thus largely helping the Bible to get into wider awareness of people again. This relates to people from various nations, since teams from many countries take part in the international contest.
By taking the personal patronage I agree with conferring designation of the function of the Minister of Culture in connection with the International Bible Championship Jerusalem (IBCJ) and with using the Ministry of Culture's logo (available at www.mkrc.cz).
I believe that you will be able to make the most of the rich experiences collected from the period of over 10 years of organizing the Czech Republic Bible Championship which has already earned its firm position. Particularly valuable from this point of view was the last year which was already with a considerable international participation, hosting teams from many European countries and even from the US.
Dear Mr. Director, I appreciate your meritorious work in care of cultural heritage of our country and I wish you a lot of success when organizing the international event.
